Chee Yuen is the Executive Vice President of Assurance & Technology at Genting Singapore PLC, the parent company of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).
Prior to joining Genting Singapore and Resorts World Sentosa, he was the Chief Information Officer of JTC Corporation, JIT Electronics Ltd and Acer Computer International Ltd. He also has over 10 years of Information Systems management experience with IBM Singapore.
Chee Yuen has been conferred the IT Leader of the Year 2013 by the Singapore Computer Society. He was also recognized as one of the Most Outstanding Chief Information Officers (CIOs) in the ASEAN region by the International Data Group (IDG) in September 2010.
Under his leadership, RWS won the National Infocomm Awards in October 2010 under the Private Sector category for the Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology. In 2004, he led JTC as CIO to win the same Award under the Public Sector category.
Chee Yuen is the appointed Chairman for the National Information Technology Standards Council (ITSC).
Chee Yuen graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a First Class Honours Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He obtained a Masters in Business Administration from NUS and was recognized for his academic excellence with the Tan Kah Kee scholarship. He completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in France and the e-Government program at Harvard University.
