Dr Kwong Yuk Wah is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), Singapore. She is also the Chief Data ProtectioiT Officer of NTUC and its affiliated unions as well as Orig Teng Cheono Labour Leadership Institute. Under heI leadership, NTUC is a winner of National Infocomm Awards (NIA) 2014 for' the Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technolooy ill tlie private sector which is Singapore's highest accolade for infocomm innovation. She was awarded an ASEAN CIO Award 2015.


She has a deep passion in teaching and sharing her practical knowledge. She is also an Adjunct Professor, Department of Information Systems, School of Computing, National University of Singapore.


She had worked ill Singapore public sector where she had started her career in the technical field in the National Coinputer Board (NCB) and held various management positions in Infocomm Development Authority (IDA). She had also assumed the position of Vice President, Business Management, Planning Division in Singapore Airlines. She had worked as Geographic Information System Consultant and Land Information System/Land Record Automation Expert for United Nations Centre for' Human Settlements (INCHS).


She is a Fellow Member of Singapore Coinputer Society (SCS). She ITolds the titles of Certified IT Project Manager (Senior) and Certified IT Outsourcing Manage^ (Senior) of Singapore Coinputer Society. She CLIrrently sits on the Executive Council of the Singapore Compute I Society. She is a member of the Advisory CoinnTittee, School of Infocomm, Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She is a member of Techskills Accelerator (TESA) ICT Sector Committee cochaired by Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF). SIIe serves on the Board of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA).


She received her' Doctor of Business Administration degree (2008) from University of Newcastle, Australia. Her dissertation is Singapore e-Government strategy.
